Summary from AnimeNewsNetwork:Baccano is Italian for noise, but Narita translates it as "stupid commotion." Each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control. Immortal alchemists, mafia operated speakeasies, and many other elements of pulp fiction mashed together for a world straight out of the movies.
My Impression:Having finished the entire series, I'd say I loved it very much. From beginning to end, it was a very well-executed production. The style was great (like a western movie or tv series) and as I watched I liked the different characters more and more too.
People may get confused by a few things though: first, there are quite a number of characters. People may mix them up, never remember who is who (but you really should be able to recognize major characters from the 3rd ep on though, at least those who appear more), or not able to understand the relationship between groups immediately; then there's the jumping time frames which happened in the entire series. But for me it was ok since it really isn't that hard to distinguish which was "the past," "the present," and "the future" (i THINK there's a future, according to the last ep... ok i'm slow >.>).
OP is great, BGM are fine, ED is good too, so musically it's guaranteed. Cast is nice, and story itself is good. Another that one should at least give a try ;))
