The series, set in Saitama, follows Ren Mihashi, who had previously excelled as his middle school baseball team's ace pitcher, due to his grandfather's connections as its manager. As he graduates to high school, whose baseball team his grandfather does not manage, he initially does not believe he is good enough to succeed at baseball, however, but assisted by his friends, he grows in stature, confidence and skill, helping his team excel with his own ability.

My Impression:
I'm not a big sports manga/anime fan (ya ya ya you're not a big fan of anything huh? >_>) ... ok my only other sports manga love is Eyeshield 21 (american football) but that's like a huuuge exception... and I still dont like american football after reading it XDDD;;; *cough* sorry I digress...

So anyway I had my eyes on this series because of it's cast. Not that I like or know of any of the main 2 guys, but there are a bunch of people in the cast that I'm interested in, so I watched it anyway...

What should I say, the opening itself makes my corrupted brain think... "BL!! YAOI!!! KUWEAAAAA XDDD" *cough* Looking at the characters, one really looks like a doM and the other S... LOL (ok, ok, I'll stop this kind of reference... >_>;)

Anyway the story seems quite interesting, and given the characters, I am going to go on watching it cus... cus... >w>;;; *cough* and for the cast!!!! *_*
